
Arinze Stanley
Arinze Stanley is a Nigerian artist who graduated with a B.Eng in Agricultural engineering. He started drawing portraits on paper at the young age of 6. Over the years he has mastered what he calls the three P’s “namely Patience, Practice and Persistence.

It is essential for him to highlight important issues that his community faces, as well as worldwide matters. These include modern slavery and feminism, to name a few. Stanley uses his techniques to emphasise the hair and the skin, creating contrast and putting in dots and spots that adds that realistic element and enhances the realism within the drawing. Stanley adds an incredible amount of detail into the skin of the subjects, and shades and highlights perfectly. He doesn’t mix any other styles, like Dry does, but instead sticks only to photo-realistic portraits.
